Chemin 28 (*) is a Belgian based immersive experience to support conscious leadership. It is a two day annual event being organized for the third time in an eco-site, with creative workshops combining art, meditation, and co-development, inspiring talks from committed personalities. It is a time to reconnect with nature: mindful walking, forest bathing, sensory exploration.
We’ve organized the first edition of Chemin 28 in 2023, with the ambition of a 5-year timeline (2023-2027) : 5 as the 5 dimensions of the Inner Development Goals which are represented in the logo of Chemin 28.
Every year, we are gathering between 60 and 70 business leaders outdoor in a non usual environment. The level of satisfaction is particularly high (close to 90%) and approx. 20% are registering for the next edition. Beyond, we are inviting all participants of Chemin 28 to participate to monthly activities of our Hub 28, in order to create exchange of good practices on inner development. Our ambition is to create a supportive community during the 5-year perspective. We’ve also created Key 28, which is a consultancy service aiming to support management boards with the same ingredients.
We are convinced that innership is a key lever for the business world to express an adequate answer to the challenges of this time. And the Inner Development Goals are of great support to address business men and women with the right vocabulary and posture. However, we are experiencing a big challenge to convince them : all what concern innership, psychological dimension, spirituality (…) is still touchy at the rational level of organizations!
(*) 28 is referring to 2028, the convergence of a great collapse predicted by the Belgian economist, Bruno Colmant. We’ve decided to invite entrepreneurs to follow a path (“chemin” into French) in order to foster their resilience before 2028.
We do believe that the raising of awareness is contributing to actions which are more aligned with SDGs. Many of participants of Chemin 28 have testimonied their participation have given them confidence to implement new sustainable actions with courage.
We will be able to illustrate this bridge between SDGs and IDGs with many cases.
